GDN
What is GDN (Google Display Network)?
Google Display Network is a global advertising network that enables very broad reach of advertising messages to potential customers or users. This is achieved by displaying advertising text or graphics in places such as: websites, YouTube, Gmail, etc. It is also possible to adapt GDN to mobile advertising formats. Google Display Network is growing in popularity because it offers the ability to effectively combine precise targeting capabilities with generating thousands or even millions of impressions.
What are the capabilities of GDN?
Google Display Network is successfully used in advertising campaigns introducing new products to the market. Its enormous reach enables increasing brand awareness in a given country. Depending on the business goals we set for a GDN campaign, there are several ways to reach users.
Contextual targeting is the determination of a list of keywords or topics that the system will thematically match to websites where the campaign will be displayed. Another possibility is targeting a very specific group of recipients with a specific profile. This is a way to run GDN campaigns that allows defining interests and demographics of a given target group. As part of such promotional activities, it is also possible to target campaigns only to selected places on the web, such as websites, or remarketing, i.e., directing ads only to people who have visited a given website.
