What is CTR (Click Through Rate)?

Why do we measure CTR?
To determine the effectiveness of a campaign. A low metric may indicate errors at the planning or ad management stage. By monitoring CTR, we can detect flaws in our campaign and draw conclusions on an ongoing basis. Most often, improperly selected SEO keywords or slogans may be responsible for unsatisfactory results.
Why is this so important?
By monitoring this metric, we can not only easily measure the effects of a marketing campaign but also take care of positioning. We notice that Google prefers to display pages with higher CTR in free search results. This also has a direct impact on AdWords ad quality.
