What is (BI) Business Intelligence?
It is a process whose goal is to make the most beneficial business decisions based on all available data. For this purpose, IT systems are used that convert data into accessible information, enabling conscious analysis of activities in the company.
Why do we use BI?
Reducing business risk - thanks to BI we can easily monitor customer activities, payments, and commercial matters. We are also able to segment customers, assess which ones are the most “profitable” for us, and which ones are behind on payments or cause problems.
Increasing sales - using BI we can also monitor competitor activities. It enables observing good business and commercial practices and implementing them in our company. Additionally, we can look for deficiencies or mistakes at competitors and, based on this knowledge, improve our own operations.
Finding errors in the sales process - analyzing our own activities and those of our competition also helps find and ultimately eliminate errors in this process.
