CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
The abbreviation CRM comes from the English Customer Relationship Management, which literally means managing relationships with customers. This concept can be understood in two ways: as a concept or as a tool.
Customer service strategy
In the first case, CRM means a strategy adopted to support marketing, sales, and customer service activities, with particular attention to meeting customer needs and satisfaction. It is an ongoing process aimed at acquiring and maintaining customer loyalty and improving relationships.
CRM System
CRM understood as a tool is an IT system used to implement the CRM concept in an enterprise, organizing and supporting sales and marketing activities. CRM software is technology that supports customer relationship management. Its purpose is to store and share information about former, current, and potential customers. Thanks to CRM systems, company employees have easy access to archived correspondence, as well as all key information from the perspective of customer cooperation with the enterprise.
