CTA
What is CTA (Call to action)?
It is one of the marketing definitions used in advertising activities. It is any link or element that has been designed to encourage a potential customer to make an immediate purchase, for example by clicking a banner and being redirected to a product page. CTA is strongly focused on persuading the user to take the action planned by the advertiser or seller. It is strongly related to using words, slogans, and messages encouraging purchase such as “buy,” “check it now,” “take advantage of the offer.”
Call to action and websites
When designing a website and wanting to use CTA, we can rely on special graphics, banners, various types of buttons, or appropriately worded text on the page. This type of encouragement to action is ultimately meant to make the user click to continue along the conversion path. Call to action is an extremely important element of marketing, because when used properly it makes a regular user who is only a potential prospect quickly and easily become an actual customer.
How to construct an effective CTA?
-
Stand out with original content that will attract the user.
-
Choose an appropriate (preferably eye-catching) button color.
-
Ensure a clear format (use only one link to a given page, thoughtfully integrate the link into the content or crafted message).
-
Clearly communicate the purpose/benefits of clicking.
