Marketing automation — how does it work?

Through the use of specialized software, activities that were previously time-consuming and repetitive are significantly accelerated. One such process is, for example, acquiring and processing all information about people who may become potential customers. By analyzing users of a given website or their profiles on social media platforms, marketing companies obtain interesting demographic data and specific behavioral models, such as website visit times.

Discovering which elements of a given website generate the most interest allows us to draw conclusions about which of the currently undertaken activities have produced the best results. It also allows us to even more precisely define the target audience and better tailor messages in the future. Excellent examples of such activities include abandoned cart reminders in online stores, information about current promotions, or creating individual offers based on a given user's interests.
