MQL
What is MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead)?
It is a marketing qualified lead. This term refers to a person who has passed initial qualification, is interested in our product, but is not ready to buy. To segment the lead and place it appropriately in the sales funnel, we need to define certain classification criteria for MQL, e.g., signing up for a demo or requesting a quote.
What is the difference between MQL and SQL?
SQL (Sales Qualified Lead) is a person who, unlike MQL, is already ready to purchase our product. For SQL, we can already prepare a commercial offer, while MQL still needs to be “warmed up” with our marketing activities.
