Quality Score
Quality Score is a metric used by Google to evaluate the quality and relevance of ads, keywords, and landing pages. It determines, on a scale of 1 to 10, how useful they are and how well they meet the needs of the target audience. The higher the score, the more accurately the ad targets user searches.
What does Quality Score depend on?
- Click-through rate (CTR), i.e., the ratio of ad clicks to the number of its impressions
- Quality and usefulness of the landing page to which the ad leads
- Relevance of ad content in relation to keywords
How to improve Quality Score?
- Optimize the landing page - the basis is that the ad content must be closely related to what is on the page
- Continuously monitor and determine which keywords are ineffective and discover those with high effectiveness
- Check where your ad is ineffective and exclude those placements to avoid lowering the achieved values
