B2B

B2B (business to business) is a term for relationships between companies. B2B encompasses: creating offers, preparing and confirming orders, executing transactions, searching for new offers, maintaining transaction documentation, payments, and marketing activities.

B2B and Sales Strategy

The sales strategy in a company is closely tied to the adopted customer acquisition model. Customer acquisition in B2B follows a different path than acquiring retail customers, known as B2C

In the case of B2B sales, it is worth noting the higher cost of customer acquisition compared to retail customers. However, the higher acquisition cost is usually offset by the average value of the order being fulfilled.

When conducting business activities aimed at business customers, you must remember that it is a process that is often lengthy and its finalization is preceded by a series of meetings. Very often the purchase decision is preceded by a series of meetings with, for example, the technical, business, financial, or operational departments, depending on the type of product that needs to be procured.
