New features in Sellizer #18 – MCP
How many times have you started your day by clicking through every proposal you've sent, just to work out which one is still "alive", who reopened it and who's worth calling today? Usually it ends with a handful of open tabs, a few charts and the feeling that the most important signal slipped by somewhere.
We have something that flips that around. Instead of searching for data, just ask for it. You can now connect Sellizer to AI apps like Claude or ChatGPT and talk to your sales data like an assistant.
How does it work?
Underneath sits MCP (Model Context Protocol) – an open standard that lets AI apps securely connect to external systems and use their data. The simplest way to think about it is as an integration: once connected, your AI chat "sees" your Sellizer data and can work with it.
The result? Instead of searching for data, you simply ask:
"Who should I call today?"
"I have a meeting with Client X tomorrow. Summarize what they did with my proposal so I'm well prepared?"
"Which pages of my proposal do people read the longest, and where do they drop off?"
"Summarize what happened with my proposals this week."
"Which proposals are about to expire?"
You don't have to learn any commands or know where to look for what. The chat finds the answer in your Sellizer data itself and gives it to you in the same language you write in.
What a connected chat can do
Here's what you can do with it from day one:
Morning briefing – "what should I do today?" You get a ranking of hot leads along with the signals that warmed them up (multiple opens, printed proposals, long reading time, and more) and a suggested action.
Call prep – "tell me about this client": how many times they really opened the proposal, how long they read it in total, which pages interested them the most and how many devices the proposal was viewed from.
Pipeline review – "what's happening with my proposals?": opens, return visits, dormant proposals and the classic "the one that got away comes back" signal: a proposal from three months ago suddenly opened again.
Proposal content analysis – "what in it sells, and what doesn't?": which parts sell and which don't interest recipients. "They read the pricing for 4 minutes and skipped the references" is the kind of insight that genuinely changes your next proposal.
What matters here
Read-only. The connected app changes nothing in Sellizer – it doesn't send proposals. The only exception is reporting a problem with a response to support, always with your explicit consent.
You only see your own data. You log in with your own Sellizer account and exactly the same permissions apply as in the app: your own proposals, or your whole organization's proposals if you have those permissions.
Security. The connection is encrypted, and an administrator can revoke access at any time. The session expires automatically after an hour of inactivity. The technical details (including the OAuth 2.1 standard) are described in our knowledge base.
How to connect it?
Good news: it takes a minute and requires no technical knowledge.

How to get access to Sellizer in your AI app:
In your AI app, go to settings and open the connectors tab, then add a new connector.
Paste the address above, enter "Sellizer" as the name, and leave the Client ID and Client Secret fields empty.
Once added – click "Connect". You'll be redirected to Sellizer, where you'll log in with your account.

That's it – the app connects itself.
Team plan – if you're in an organization
By default, every member of a Sellizer organization can connect using just the address and their login.
If you want full control over who can connect, then as a Sellizer administrator (or with a custom role in Sellizer that has access to the "Organization" panel), go to the "Organization" panel and the "MCP Server" tab. You have three tools there:
The "Open connection for the team" toggle – once turned off, only the people you issue special access keys to (client_id / client_secret) will be able to connect. It's a safeguard for companies that want to decide who connects to their sales data, and with what.
The "MCP Clients" tab - that's where you generate the access keys (client_id / client_secret).
The "MCP Sessions" tab – a list of all active connections in the organization: who, through which app, and until when they have access. You can revoke any session with a single click.
Start asking instead of searching
Your sales data is most valuable when you have it at hand at the moment of decision, not after ten clicks. Connect Sellizer to your AI and turn searching through proposals into a single question.
A list of example questions you can ask your AI assistant:
"Which of my proposals are the hottest right now? Who should I call today?"
"Who opened my proposals in the last 24 hours?"
"Has anyone gone back to an old proposal recently?"
"Which of my proposals have been sitting untouched for weeks?"
"Which of my proposals are about to expire?"
"Which of my recipients looks like they're close to a decision?"
"Show me all the activity of recipient [email] in proposal [name]"
"On which pages of proposal [name] did the recipient spend the most time?"
"How is proposal [name] doing? Who read it, and how much?"
"Summarize the results of proposal [name]"
"What are my sending results this month?"
"Give me a morning summary: what happened with my proposals?"
"Find my proposals for company [name]"
"Show the details of proposal [name]"
"Find contact [name / email]"
"How many times did [email] open my proposal, and from what device?"
