Landing Page

A landing page is a page that a user reaches after clicking on a sponsored link, mailing, banner placed on another site, or another form of advertising used in a campaign.

Goals achieved by a landing page

A characteristic feature of a landing page is its uncomplicated structure. This results from its purpose - it is meant to generate conversions, so the elements placed on it must be carefully considered so they don't distract visitors but support achieving the intended goal.

Elements that determine landing page effectiveness

  • an attention-grabbing headline emphasizing the product or service value most important to the visitor
  • clearly visible buttons containing clear CTA
  • page clarity and avoiding excessive graphic and textual content, links, etc. (to avoid distracting visitors)
  • content precision and communication based on user needs, emphasizing benefits they can achieve
  • forms with simple structure - too many fields to fill out can be discouraging for users
